Shipping Policy

At Hometexure, we are committed to getting your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect from the moment you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door.

1. Order Cut-Off Time

Orders must be placed before 2:00 PM (GMT/BST — London Time) to be processed the same business day.

  • Orders placed before 2:00 PM (London Time) on a business day will begin processing that same day
  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM (London Time) will begin processing the next business day
  • Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will begin processing on the next available business day

Time Zone Reference: All cut-off times are based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in winter and British Summer Time (BST, GMT+1) in summer — both corresponding to London local time.

2. Order Processing Time

Once your order is received and payment is confirmed, we process all orders within 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays).

Processing includes:

  • Payment verification
  • Order quality check
  • Picking and packing your item(s)
  • Handing over to our shipping carrier

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

5. Shipping Carriers

We work with a network of trusted international carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery, including:

  • Royal Mail — UK domestic and international
  • DPD — UK and Europe
  • Evri (Hermes) — UK domestic
  • DHL Express — International
  • FedEx — USA, Canada, Australia
  • Australia Post — Australia last-mile delivery
  • Local Postal Networks — for final-mile delivery in destination countries

The carrier used for your order will depend on your delivery location and package size. Carrier details will be included in your shipping confirmation email.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Your delivery destination
  • The weight and dimensions of your order

Exact shipping costs will always be displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm your order and make payment. We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time — these will be clearly advertised on our website.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • Your unique tracking number
  • The name of the carrier
  • A direct link to track your parcel in real time

Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking information to be updated by the carrier.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within 3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam/junk folder first, then contact us at support@hometexure.com with your order number.

8. Customs, Import Duties & Taxes

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, your parcel may be subject to:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT (in the destination country)
  • Handling fees charged by the local customs authority

These charges are entirely the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees. We are unable to predict or control customs charges as they vary by country and order value.

Important:

  • We are legally required to declare the full value of all shipments on customs documentation
  • We cannot mark shipments as "gifts" or undervalue orders on customs forms
  • If you refuse delivery due to customs charges, we are unable to issue a refund for the product or original shipping costs
  • Delays caused by customs processing are outside our control

Please check with your local customs authority for information on duties and taxes before placing your order.

9. UK & EU VAT

  • All prices displayed on our website for UK customers include VAT where applicable
  • For EU customers, VAT may be charged at checkout or collected by your local customs authority depending on the order value and destination country
  • We comply with all applicable UK and EU VAT regulations

10. Failed Deliveries & Returned Parcels

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g. no one available to receive the parcel), the carrier will typically:

  • Leave a delivery notification card
  • Attempt re-delivery on the next business day
  • Hold the parcel at a local depot or post office for collection

If a parcel is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery attempts with no response from the customer
  • Refusal of delivery by the customer

We will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Re-delivery shipping costs will be charged to the customer. If you do not respond within 14 days, we reserve the right to process a refund minus the original shipping cost.

11. Lost or Stolen Parcels

Hometexure is not liable for parcels that are confirmed as delivered by the carrier but reported as missing or stolen.

If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your parcel:

  1. Check with all household members
  2. Check with neighbours or a safe place the carrier may have left it
  3. Check with your local post office or carrier depot
  4. Contact the carrier directly to file a missing parcel report

If you are still unable to locate your parcel after completing all steps above, contact us at support@hometexure.com and we will do our best to assist you in resolving the situation with the carrier.

12. Incorrect Delivery Address

Please double-check your delivery address carefully before confirming your order. We are unable to change or redirect a parcel once it has been dispatched.

If you notice an error in your delivery address:

  • Contact us immediately at support@hometexure.com
  • If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will do our best to update the address
  • If the order has already been dispatched, we cannot guarantee any changes

We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

13. Shipping Delays

While we always aim to meet estimated delivery timeframes, delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, including:

  • Peak shopping seasons (Christmas, Black Friday, Sales periods)
  • Adverse or extreme weather conditions
  • Customs and border control processing
  • Carrier operational disruptions or strikes
  • Public holidays in the destination country
  • Global supply chain disruptions
